Reaching for Forever
About
Flora Hargrove only meant to go undercover… not climb into a stranger's lap, take her clothes off, and lose herself in the kind of filthy, mind-wrecking heat she was never supposed to feel.
But the night she walked into that club—dressed to distract, trembling in heels, and pretending she wasn't out of her depth—Rex Reddington looked at her like she was already his.
And when she slid onto his lap in that dark private room, the mission stopped mattering.
The case stopped mattering.
Only his hands on her.
His mouth.
His body.
His need.
One reckless night.
One raw, hungry mistake.
One baby she never expected.
Months later, Rex finds her again—pregnant with his child—and every possessive instinct he's spent his life trying to bury snaps wide open.
He wants the baby.
He wants her even more.
And he isn't letting either go.
A blazing hot undercover romance with a dirty-talking hero, a good girl who discovers she likes being bad for him, and a no-apologies accidental baby twist. No fade-to-black. No regrets.

Praise for this book
In Tara Eldana’s novel, Reaching For Forever, Flora Hargrove has given life-altering news to Rex Reddington. She is pregnant with his child. When Flora helped her cousin by going undercover as a dancer at a strip club, she never dreamed that she would fall for Rex. After a night spent with him, he is called away, and Flora never thought she would see him again. Rex kept reliving his memory of the school teacher from four months ago when he saw her at his best friend’s wedding as a bridesmaid. Rex had no intention of letting her go. On impulse, Flora and Rex elope to Vegas the next day, despite her parents' objections. When they return, Flora’s boss, Rick, drops in on the newlyweds. Furious to find that she is married, he is determined to win her affection back or make her life miserable.
Reaching For Forever is a fast-paced, whirlwind romance novel that sets the scene for love at first sight. Flora reminded me of my young adult life, playing safe most of the time but, given the right circumstances, would act impulsively. I never went so far as to marry somebody that I had only seen twice, though. Rex appears to always take full advantage of every day, without a lot of regard for what people would think. His confident manner is the backbone that Flora needs. When her parents started belittling Flora’s pregnancy, I would have immediately dismissed them and lived my life, especially since she was in her twenties. I hated several of the supporting characters that tried to break the couple up, but this conflict brought the story to life. My recommendation is that any mature adult who likes a romance that starts off with a bang and is the epitome of love at first sight should read Tara Eldana's novel.
Worth reading - the story is well written. It authentically portrays a woman overcoming her demons and striving to attain the future she'd always dreamed about, as well as a protective, dependable, respectful, loving partner who's worth swooning over.
